Guttenberg Castle above the Neckar: The castle of eagles!
The late medieval Guttenberg Castle is one of the last undestroyed Staufer castles in Germany and is considered one of the most popular excursion destinations in the Neckar valley. Under its mighty keep, within its imposing walls, the flair of the Middle Ages can be felt everywhere. And it is still inhabited: the Barons of Gemmingen live here already in the 17th generation.
